Do insoles really make a difference in retail jobs?
Asked 8 months ago
I’m new to retail and already feeling the toll on my feet after just a few weeks. Everyone keeps telling me to get insoles, but I’m skeptical. Are they actually worth it, or just hype? I’d love to hear what’s worked (or not) for other retail folks.

I totally get where you’re coming from. I was really skeptical too, but I finally tried custom orthotics, and they’ve made a huge difference. I used to dread long shifts because my feet and back would ache, but now I can get through the day without constant pain. They feel a lot more supportive than generic insoles and actually match the way I walk and stand. It’s an investment worth every penny in my book.
