Are thin low profile insoles good for flat feet?
Asked 8 months ago
I’ve been dealing with flat feet forever and hate how thick insoles mess with shoe fit. Thin low profile insoles sound promising, but I’m skeptical. Do they actually reduce pain or just make shoes feel slightly better? Looking for honest feedback before I spend more money.

Thin low profile insoles can feel nicer in your shoes but they dont usually give enough real support for flat feet. I’ve tried a bunch and they mostly just make things a bit comfier without cutting down the ache much. What helped me most was getting custom orthotics that actually match how my feet move. They fit better long term and dont feel bulky once you break them in.
