Do heel lift insoles really help with daily walking?
Asked 2 months ago
Lately my right heel has been getting sore after long walks, and a friend suggested trying heel lift insoles for shoes. I’m curious if they actually relieve pressure or just shift the discomfort somewhere else. I don’t want to waste money, so I’d love to hear real experiences before buying.

I had the same issue awhile back and the regular heel lift insoles for shoes didn’t really do much for me. What actually helped was getting custom orthotics made for my foot shape. They just fit better and felt more natural when I walked so I didn’t get that awkward pressure shifting around. It took a couple days to get used to them but after that my heel stopped bugging me and walking felt way smoother.
