What are the best insoles for nurses on their feet all day?
Asked 8 days ago
I’m starting my first nursing job soon and everyone keeps warning me about foot pain from standing all day. I’ve seen people mention insoles, but I’m skeptical if they are actually worth it? If you’ve found a pair that helped during 10+ hour shifts, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I tried off-the-shelf insoles first, but they wore out fast and didn’t really solve the pain. Custom orthotics were a game-changer. They’re molded to your feet, so they support your arches and reduce pressure in all the right places. I stopped getting that burning heel pain and my knees felt better too. It’s an investment, but for nurses doing 10+ hour shifts, it’s worth every cent.
