Are custom orthotics able to give long-term pain relief from my plantar fasciitis?
Asked 5 years ago
I have plantar fasciitis in the middle of my left foot for years and it flares up all the time. Any suggestions as to long-term pain relief?

Your first step should be to discuss treatment ideas with your doctor. They may be able to refer you to the orthotics department at the hospital where you can get some custom medical-grade insoles to help with the pain you are suffering. A home treatment could be the use of kinetic medical tape. Wrap the foot.
