Can you put too much Epsom salt in a footbath?

Asked 4 years ago

I have plantar fasciitis, and I'm going to try soaking my feet in Epsom salts to relieve the pain. Is it possible to use too much Epsom salt?

An Epsom salt foot bath is safe for most people. With diabetes, any foot soak increases the risk of infection. In people with dry skin, it is used with caution. This is because it leaves the skin very dry and prone to cracks. If unsure, pls consult your HCP.
