Can calcium be the cause of foot pain?

Asked 4 years ago

I remember reading somewhere that certain levels of calcium could actually cause foot pain. Is this true? If so, how much calcium would cause this?

Calcium can, in fact, be the source of foot pain. Muscle aches, cramps, and spasms are common symptoms of calcium insufficiency. Walking or moving causes pain in the thighs and arms. Hands, arms, feet, and legs, as well as the area around the mouth, are numb and tingling.
