How do I know if I have metatarsalgia?
Asked 3 years ago
Are there any key symptoms or a test that I can do that will indicate whether I have metatarsalgia?

Sharp, agonizing, or burning pain in the ball of your foot (the area of the sole directly behind your toes) is a symptom of metatarsalgia. Standing, running, flexing your feet, or walking barefoot on a hard surface causes pain, which improves when you rest. If you experience any of the symptoms listed above, you should see a doctor for a proper foot diagnosis.
