Hi, I have burning feet, and I read that ayurvedic treatment for damaged nerve tissue or neuropathy would be turmeric. Could this really help?

Turmeric is commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat various health conditions, including inflammation, joint pain, and digestive problems. It also has antioxidant and neuroprotective properties, which suggest that it may help the treatment of neuropathy or damaged nerve tissue.
However, it's important to note that the effectiveness of using turmeric for nerve pain is not yet fully established by scientific studies. Orthotics, on the other hand, can provide additional cushioning and support to the feet, which may help reduce pain and discomfort caused by neuropathy. They can also help correct foot deformities or misalignments that may contribute to neuropathy or make existing symptoms worse.
If you are experiencing burning feet or other symptoms of neuropathy, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis.

Yes!
Turmeric will help address peripheral neuropathy because it contains curcumin, a strong antioxidant. Curcumin has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and analgesic properties.
These combine to relieve peripheral neuropathy symptoms (numbness and tingling) in the hands and feet and prevent chronic pain. It also promotes nerve regeneration and functional recovery.

Turmeric will fast-track healing after nerve injury because it contains an active ingredient, Curcumin. According to research, Curcumin promotes the regeneration of the nerves. It also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties which make it helpful in relieving pain (nociceptive and neuropathic). However, ensure you carry your medical provider along with your plans.

There is some evidence to suggest that turmeric can yield some results when used in treating neuropathic pain because it contains curcumin. According to research, curcumin has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and nerve-healing properties. Asides from turmeric, you may also consider using custom inserts to minimize pressure on the nerves, support the feet, and provide comfort.

Yes, turmeric may help with burning feet caused by nerve damage. Its active ingredient, curcumin, has shown promise in relieving nerve pain and reducing inflammation. With guidance from a professional, turmeric may naturally ease discomfort associated with neuropathy in the feet in addition to conventional medications.
Another great alternative is custom insoles. They can offer extra support, and my sister has mentioned how they help relieve her symptoms.
