Can TENS reduce peripheral neuropathy?

Asked 2 years ago

Hey, I have been suffering from peripheral neuropathy for some time now and I'm searching for solutions. I've heard that TENS therapy can potentially reduce numbness and tingling sensations in feet and hands. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with TENS for peripheral neuropathy? I would appreciate any feedback or advice on this topic.

Studies show that TENS can promote peripheral nerve healing and regeneration. Consequently, it can help relieve symptoms of peripheral neuropathy, especially in people with diabetic neuropathy. Also, TENS can selectively activate nerve fibres and block pain sensation in the brain.
