Is it bad to run with flat feet?
Asked 4 years ago
Would running with flat feet make them worse, or potentially cause an injury? Is this something to avoid?

Running on flat feet tends to overpronate the feet. This often causes the legs to collapse inward with each footfall. Putting extra pressure on your knees and ankle joints can excel the pronation and make it much worse. It can lead to injuries such as shin splints, aches. and pains in the ankles, knees, hips, and lower back.
Always support your ankles and feet when you are running.
