What are the side effects of lidocaine patches for peripheral neuropathy?
Asked 14 days ago
Hello, I have been suffering from peripheral neuropathy as a result of my diabetes for around 2 years now. I'm considering lidocaine patches for my peripheral neuropathy, but I want to know about potential side effects. Does anyone know what I should expect and if there are any risks?

Generally, lidocaine patches can cause a burning sensation and redness or swelling of the skin where you used the patch. It can also cause more severe symptoms like itching, blisters, bruising, rash, nausea, vomiting, etc. Please, let your doctor know immediately if you experience any of these side effects, and they do not go away.
