What is the best cream for burning feet?
Asked 3 years ago
I'm looking for either a pharmaceutical or allopathic (natural) cream that may help with Grierson Gopalan Syndrome, any recommendations?

Here are the creams that may help you ease your burning feet.
capsaicin: treatment with capsaicin cream applied to the painful area 4 times every day will give significant relief for some people. It works by releasing the substance from nerve endings that create pain.
Other than that methyl salicylate, heat rubs, menthol, or arnica creams with massage may give you temporary relief.

Any topical cream containing capsaicin will help with the symptoms of Grierson Gopalan Syndrome. Capsicin decreases the intensity of pain signals in the body making it perfect for burning pains, Additionally, anti-fungal creams that address a potential cause (athlete's foot) can be used with analgesic creams like diclofenac.

Any cream containing capsaicin is an excellent choice for treating the symptoms of Grierson Gopalan Syndrome. Research suggests capsaicin can help with the burning pain sensation. Also, antifungal cream can treat burning feet if its cause is athlete's foot. Over-the-counter medicine like miconazole can also be used.

You're looking for any cream that has capsaicin as one of its constituents. There is some evidence suggesting that capsaicin helps with burning pain sensations. Also, creams with methyl salicylate and menthol can give temporary relief. Beyond the creams, a custom insert will help relieve pressure on the feet and reduce pain.

If you're dealing with Grierson Gopalan Syndrome, look for capsaicin creams that can help with pain. You should also consider home remedies such as foot massages, Epsom salt baths, or using ice/heat packs, which might provide relief.
I would look at custom orthotics too to ease your symptoms. I think it's wise to have a conversation with a healthcare professional to create a personalized plan for your condition.

Sorry you’re going through that, burning feet can be really frustrating, especially if you're on your standing all day. For topical relief, here are a few options people often find helpful:
- Capsaicin Cream: Derived from chili peppers, it helps reduce pain signals over time. It may sting at first but can be effective with regular use.
- Lidocaine Cream: A numbing agent that can offer fast, short-term relief for burning sensations.
- Aloe vera Gel: Known for its cooling and anti-inflammatory effects.
- Essential Oils (like peppermint or lavender, diluted in a carrier oil): These may help with circulation and offer a cooling sensation.
- Turmeric-Based Creams: Anti-inflammatory and can soothe irritated nerves.
Just keep in mind—these help manage symptoms but don’t address the root cause. If nerve compression or poor foot mechanics are part of the problem, custom orthotics can relieve pressure and improve alignment, which may reduce burning over time.
Our custom orthotics are designed for just that. Want to find out if they’re a good fit for your feet? Take our quick quiz to get personalized recommendations.
