Can plantar fasciitis be completely healed?
Asked 4 years ago
I've been following treatment from a podiatrist for my plantar fasciitis for about a year now, and my ankle has never been completely the same. Will it ever be completely healed?

Plantar fasciitis is most commonly caused by a series of injuries over time. Within a few weeks of treatment, you will be in less discomfort. However, it may take some time for the pain to subside completely. It could take anywhere from a few months to a year.
Stick to your treatment plan. If you don’t, you can experience persistent pain when standing or walking. Your feet will cease aching sooner if you start treatment right away. Keep stretching and strengthening those ankle and foot muscles as directed by your doctor- consistently. And it will be well
