How do I reduce inflammation in my big toe joint?
Asked 5 years ago
I have developed really bad inflammation in my big toe over the past few days, and I'm not too sure what could have caused it. Does anyone have any tips for reducing pain and inflammation in the big toe joint?

In acute stages, avoid putting pressure on your foot by resting. Have you tried padding the joint for added protection and support? Wear orthotics shoes with padding, insoles or night also corrects and aligns for gait and biomechanics. To relieve pain and inflammation, apply a cold therapy 3 times per day and take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory.
