Will insoles stop me from spraining my ankle when playing basketball?
Asked 2 years ago
Hey guys, I'm an avid basketball player and I've been struggling with ankle sprains lately. I want to know if anyone has tried using insoles while playing basketball and if it has helped them avoid sprains. Will wearing insoles prevent ankle injuries?

Insoles or orthotics can be of benefit in avoiding ankle sprains while playing basketball. The added support, stability and cushioning that orthotics provide will greatly aid you in reducing the chances of developing an ankle sprain. Custom orthotics are the best option for you as they are casted off of the shape of your feet ensuring that you have maximum support and comfort. Orthotics are used widely through a range of sports including basketball to reduce the chance of injury.
