Should I wear an ankle brace or boot to help manage Achilles Tendonitis?
Asked 3 years ago
I looked up the symptoms, assessed them, and concluded that I have Achilles Tendonitis. I am now looking into treatments and what I can do to support my ankle while it heals. Is it recommended to wear an ankle or a boot brace?

While your diagnosis may be accurate, you should understand that the treatment choice also depends on the cause. It is best that you get a second opinion from a qualified health care professional. In the interim, an ankle brace will prevent further injury and provide pain relief by compressing the tendon.
