Can Crocs be bad for your toes?

I know that they aren't the best in terms of arch support, but are they particularly bad for toes?

The response of a podiatrist may surprise you. “Crocs are easy to slip in and wear, however, these shoes do not adequately support the heel enough to secure the shoe properly onto the foot." So, while they're great for taking out the trash, they're not the best pair to wear for long periods of time. However, if you really want to wear them, you should invest in arch support insoles.
