Does my 4 year old son need orthotics if he has flat feet and pronation or will it fix itself as his feet mature?
Asked 4 years ago
I have been worried sick. Any recommendation will be highly appreciated. Hopefully, it's not too late to fix his foot. He is not in pain but does tend to fall over sometimes

An expert will probably prescribe orthotics to help with flat feet and pronation. But whether the orthotics can "fix" these issues depends on many factors. You should see a podiatrist and get an expert assessment of your son's feet. Orthotics for children need to be changed and adjusted regularly as the child grows.
