My new pickleball shoes are killing my feet! What's going on?
Asked 2 months ago
I've been playing pickleball, and my arches and the balls of my feet are super sore, even with the inserts I bought. Did I get the wrong shoes, or is there something else going on? Should I go straight for expensive custom orthotics, or try some stretches instead?

If your new pickleball shoes are hurting your arches and the balls of your feet, try doing some stretches and exercises to strengthen your feet and calves first. If that doesn’t help after a few weeks, then think about getting custom orthotics. With Upstep, you don’t need to visit a specialist because they deliver the orthotics right to your door. Custom orthotics can give you the support you need and make your feet feel much better when you play.
