Overpronation occurs when the ankle rolls too far lower and inward. This can result in injury, but it is preventable with the right shoes, insoles, or orthotics. The length of time it takes to recuperate is determined by the cause of your arch pain. Some people cannot avoid overpronation, but they can mitigate its effects by wearing orthotics and wearing appropriate footwear. These individuals can also assist lower their risk of injury due to overpronation by performing prescribed activities.
