Can surgery correct overpronation?

Asked 4 years ago

Before I look any further into booking an appointment, I want to know for sure if surgery can successfully correct overpronation. Has anyone gone for this surgery before that can advise me?

Yes, surgery can correct overpronation. Typically, the surgery is low-risk and has a high success rate. However, the procedure is complex, and the complete post-op recovery takes time. So, you should only use surgery as a last resort when conservative treatment has failed to improve symptoms.
