Should I use textured insoles for numb feet from neuropathy?
Asked 3 years ago
I want to get orthotics that will support the neuropathy I have in my feet. My predominant sensation is numbness. Does this mean I should get textured insoles?

A textured insole will stimulate the small nerves on the sole of your feet. These nerves are sensitive to different stimuli, including texture, touch, pressure, and vibration. Thus, textured insoles will provide the appropriate sensory stimulation to deal with the numbness. It'll also aid your balance and posture.
