Why does the entire bottom of my foot hurt all the time?
Asked 2 months ago
I have a constant, dull, aching pain across the entire bottom of my foot, not just my heel or the ball of my foot, but the whole sole. It is painful 24/7, and I have not had a specific injury. What could cause this generalized, constant pain, and what is the best strategy to get relief so I can walk normally again?

Constant aching across the whole bottom of your foot can happen when the natural cushioning starts to thin out or when your feet are strained from overpronation or not having enough support. To ease the pain, focus on giving your feet full, even support that takes pressure off sore areas. Custom orthotics are one of the best ways to do this because they support your entire foot and help spread weight more evenly. Upstep makes it easy by creating custom orthotics designed for your feet and delivering them straight to your door, so you don’t need to see a specialist.
