Are custom orthotics better than store bought insoles for plantar fasciitis pain?
Asked 7 days ago
I’ve been struggling with plantar fasciitis for months, and every step feels rough. Some people say custom orthotics are the only way to get lasting relief, but others claim store bought insoles can help just as much.. I'm still hesistant to make the purches so i would like to hear from others

I had plantar fasciitis last year and honestly custom orthotics made a huge difference for me. Store insoles gave some short term relief but they wore out quickly and never really fixed the problem. The custom pair felt weird at first but once I adjusted, the support was night and day. They spread the pressure evenly and I could finally walk without that sharp heel pain. It was more expensive upfront but worth it for the long term comfort and fewer flare ups
