Due to playing sports, I have gotten shin splints quite a few times. I was wondering if there was a way that I can prevent them from coming back?

Some of the stress on the shin is relieved by strengthening the anterior lower leg muscles. Stretch and ice your shin after activity to reduce inflammation. Additionally, increase mileage too slowly, warm-ups before activity, and reduce speed work
