Rigid vs. flexible flat feet: What is the difference?

I didn't know that there were different types of flat feet untill the other day. Could anyone briefly explain what the main difference is between rigid and flexible flat feet is?

When a person with a flexible flatfoot sits or stands on tiptoes, their arches are normal, but when they stand, they collapse. The arch of the foot stays flattened whatever the location of the foot in inflexible flatfoot. Flexible occurs in babies but resolves by age 3 when the child starts to stand. Rigid flat foot is caused by improper foot development, which can be caused by congenital anomalies (vertical talus) or faulty foot bone connections (tarsal coalition). It’s frequently linked to improper foot development as a result of a more significant underlying illness, like a neuromuscular disorder. The majority of neuromuscular flatfoot patients will have stiff flatfoot. Neuromuscular flatfoot management varies from idiopathic flexible flatfoot management in that it frequently necessitates more invasive treatment, such as surgery
