Do inserts help with heel spurs?
Asked 3 years ago
My best friend struggles badly with the pain of her heel spurs. Can I recommend inserts to her? Do inserts actually help heel spurs?

Yes, you can. Inserts alleviate the pain and reduce inflammation due to heel spurs. They redistribute the weight on the feet, cushion the heel, and reduce the strain on heel structures when running or walking. However, they are best used with appropriate footwear to minimize the pressure on the heel.
