What treatments can be used to relieve Morton's Neuroma pain?
Asked 2 years ago
I have Morton's Neuroma and I am currently experiencing what feels like a pebble in my shoe, but much more painful. What are some available treatments for this? I've heard that I can take steroid injections can help, but I'm hoping someone can suggest a less invasive treatment?

The best Morton's neuroma treatment will be defined by the individual aspects of the condition, such as the period and severity of symptoms. The first step in the treatment plan should be to identify and eliminate any causes that are likely to have caused injury and the associated symptoms. This include eliminating ill-fitting and high heel shoes and correcting faulty biomechanics that induce pressure on the nerve. I have found combining custom orthotics to help relieve pressure, strengthening exercises, and shockwave therapy improve symptoms.
