Can a structural abnormality of my bones cause cavus foot?
Hello, I have genetically inherited higher arches than the majority, although it has never bothered me before (I've never experienced much pain). I'm worried that having higher foot arches may lead to my cavus feet. Is there anything I can do to avoid getting hollow feet, and what symptoms should I be looking out for? Asked a year ago

Could it be good to have high arches if I am an athlete?
I haven't experienced a lot of pain since being told I have high arches. In fact, I only knew this thanks to getting custom orthotics done for my feet to see if it would improve my performance in sports. I want to find out whether this type of foot formation would increase the dexterity of my movements. Asked a year ago

Is it better to have high-arched feet or flat feet?
So here's a question that is up for debate. As someone who suffers from having high arches and being unable to walk for very long. What would having flat feet be like? Is it less painful than curling toes and an awkward gait? What kind of foot support and treatment do you use?Asked a year ago

Am I considered disabled if I discover that I have cavus foot?
So I have been diagnosed with high arches in both my feet and as a result, I have to wear shoes with extra support and avoid walking very far. Sometimes when the mall parking lot is full, I go to the disabled parking to avoid walking very far. I once got into trouble for doing this, despite my protests. Apparently, I need to apply for a permit or a disabled disc. Surely having a cavus foot counts as a disability?Asked a year ago

Do I need extra support on my feet if they are hollow?
Good day, I think I may have high arches because I've been experiencing varying symptoms such as calluses, curling toes (although I'm not sure if this could also be hammertoes), and pain if I'm on my feet for more than an hour. Should I be looking at getting OTC orthotics?Asked a year ago

How do I maintain athletic performance with high-arched feet?
I've been an athlete since I was in school, and I'm 30 years old now. I've never had a problem with my feet before, but now I've been diagnosed with cavus foot (apparently, I've likely inherited it), and I am concerned that this will be the end of my career. What steps can I take to ensure that this foot condition doesn't decrease my ability to perform as an athlete? Asked a year ago
