What causes back of heel pain after running?

Hey guys I've been running every morning for a couple of years now, but this morning the back of my heels started paining. Has anyone experienced this?

The answer is Plantar Fasciitis.

The most common reason for foot pain or arch pain after running is plantar fasciitis.

The ligament that links your heel to the front of your foot is known as the plantar fascia. You may have stiffness or soreness in the arch and heel area if you have this problem.
