Is CBD oil good for plantar fasciitis?

Asked 3 years ago

I'm trying to find ways to speed up my treatment and recovery from excessive heel pain due to plantar fasciitis. I've heard that CBD oil has some anti-inflammatory properties to it and want to know if this would be good for plantar fasciitis, seeing as one of its main symptoms of it is inflammation. So, can CBD oil help for plantar fasciitis heel pain? Also, which CBD oil products and dosages should I use for plantar fasciitis and heel pain?

Yes, CBD oil is definitely good for plantar fasciitis. It reduces inflammation by preventing the release of inflammation causing compounds in the body. Its use in chronic pain, rest pain , muscle spasms ,pain on movement have been studied.

CBD oil can help reduce plantar fasciitis heel pain by decreasing pain perception, suppressing the immune response to injury, thus reducing inflammation and increasing the healing rate.

The appropriate dosage is determined on a per case basis. It is advisable to use only quality products with specified ingredients.

CBD oil has been recognized as an anti-inflammatory across the world in recent years. Pain and inflammation associated with plantar fasciitis can be managed effectively with CBD oil, in the appropriate dosage. Please seek advice from a medical professional regarding dosage for specific conditions. CBD can also help you sleep better at night and will reduce your daily reported levels of pain. Other home remedies can also be used to relieve symptoms associated with plantar fasciitis. Massage of the sole of the foot manually with your hands or with the use of a ball can be an effective way to relieve symptoms of pain and inflammation in the feet. Ice and stretching can also be used as an effective way to manage your pain, and reduce any flare-ups that can arise from activity.

Plantar fasciitis responds well to the use of anti-inflammatory agents. CBD oil will also prove effective in managing your symptoms since its effect as an anti-inflammatory is well documented. Ideally, all cannabidiol (CBD) products are prescription medicines. Thus, your medical provider is the best person to prescribe a product and the appropriate dosage for you.
