How do you prove you have CRPS?
Asked 2 years ago
My feet and hands are almost constantly burning and aching. I think I might have complex regional pain syndrome, but it's so similar to other neurological disorders that I am worried that I may get misdiagnosed. Can an MRI detect CRPS?

A diagnosis of CRPS is made only after excluding all similarly presenting conditions. Following a thorough subjective and objective examination, your HCP will request some tests. While a blood test rules out infection, an X-ray rules out bone and joint problems. The MRI rules out any underlying tissue problem.
